Summer Reading

I am what I like to call an escapee reader. I love fluff! I like easy, not too scary, nothing icky and most definitely nothing historic (eek! did I just admit that??!).

1. The Cuckoo's Calling  - Loved every last page. Usually I am not a girl for details upon details (I've been known to skip half chapters at a time), however, JK Rowling is just magical. Each description is so meaningful and truly brings her words to life. A mystery, but not too scary. I devoured this book. Please write more books JK! I love you! :)

2. Beautiful Day - I have read every. single. book of Elin Hilderbrand's. Seriously, honestly. They are all set in Nantucket. They are all told through multiple story tellers usually within a family. Easy, perfect summer reads.

3. Most Talkative - I have been wanting to read this book for a shockingly long time. I am a bravo junkie. I have actually stopped watching anything new they put out because I don't want to become addicted to anymore of their shows. I know some of you are with me on this! Anyhow... cried as Andy told his coming out story. He really brought it to life. And now, quickly, like ripping off a band aide I'll admit... I didn't love the rest of the book and kind of liked him less. eh!

4. Island Girls - Super similar to Hilderbrand's books. When I run out of new Hilderbrand books, I seek comfort is a similar style.

Would love to hear any recommendations you have... whatcha reading??
